The Harrod Papers of the Library of the Chiba University of Commerce shall be used according to these rules. |

Not the original Harropd Papers (HP) but only their duplicate copies shall be used. |
| 3. |
Only manual transcription of the HP and of the catalogue shall be permitted. Photocopying shall not be permitted. |
| 4. |
Any staff of the university who wants to use the HP must fill in a permission form and present it to the chief librarian. |
| 5. |
Any person other than a staff of the university who wants to use the HP must present in advance a letter of introduction from a staff of the university or the head of the person's institute, and must then fill in a permission form and present it to the chief librarian. |
| 6. |
The HP should only be used in the designated area in the Library. They should not be removed from that place. |
| 7. |
Only up to ten materials may be used simultaneously. |

The hours for use of the HP:
Monday to Friday: AM 9:00-12:00.PM 1:00-4:30
Saturday: AM 9:00-12:00, PM 1:00-2:30 |

Any user who loses or in any way damages any piece of the HP intentionally or accidentally must make due reparation for the loss or damage. |

Any user who makes any quotation of the HP in his or her work must state clearly that the HP belong to this Library, and must also present two copies of the publication to this Library.
These rules shall be in effect as of February 2, 1987. |
